If you have been neglecting the loading speed for your pages, then you have been hurting your SEO. Do you know what a slow page speed does to your website? It increases the bounce rate which shows Google that the site has not been of value to the users. Most users will leave your page if it takes more than four seconds to load.

Most webmasters do not care much about optimizing their websites for mobile. You will be surprised by the number of people using mobile as opposed to desktops. People want to access information from anywhere and at any given time. It has seen a rise in the number of mobile users.

What that tells you is that if you are unable to capture the mobile audience, then you are missing out on a lot. Making your website mobile friendly will exponentially increase your traffic: which is something you are looking for.

4. Not fixing crawl errors

Did you know that by not correcting crawl errors Google bots cannot find your URL? The search engine not being able to access your website comes with disadvantages.

For one, the search engine will be unable to rank your pages since it cannot locate it. Consequently, the users won't be able to find your pages either.

The first thing you need to do is to find the errors and fix them. It does not need to be a tedious task as there are tools that you can use for that.

Not doing keyword research is another SEO mistake that you need to avoid. They may get in the way of getting a good return on investment from this digital marketing strategy. Work on them, and you will note a significant improvement in your SEO.
