How HBO Nordic’s Innovative Release Strategy Captivated Audiences During the Pandemic

HBO Nordic reached out to Ekstra Bladet Native department with the task to find a new and innovative way to release their content other than their traditional release approach.
It had to be something new that embraced the new situation of the world with the global pandemic distressing people’s lives and forcing a change to consumers behavioral patterns. For example, people may not get as much out their homes anymore, so traditional “release media” such as outdoor, could potentially be less effective.
All this without compromising any of the advantages of the original release plans such as exposing a critical mass.
