What Made PPD and's Campaign Stand Out for Croatian Children

In Croatia, 2864 children lack proper parental care, with 661 of them residing in children’s homes., a leading Croatian news portal, partnered with Prvo Plinarsko Društvo (PPD), a major Croatian energy company, for a vital social initiative. Our campaign, “Remember the Children’s Homes,” ran from November 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023, focusing on raising awareness about the challenges faced by children’s homes, especially during periods of rising costs. 

PPD, known for its significant role in the energy sector, stepped up to fund six months of heating expenses for these homes. Simultaneously, initiated a large-scale media campaign to educate the public and encourage support for these children and the homes providing their care. 

Our objective was to increase national understanding and empathy for these homes and children, prompting actions like donations, adoptions, and volunteering. We aimed to craft stories that would resonate with people’s hearts, igniting a nationwide movement of compassion and support for Croatia’s vulnerable children.
