Why the storytelling approach was key to the success of the BDL Perspectives podcast project

Luxembourg private bank BDL has specialised in wealth management since 1920. It assists individuals, families and entrepreneurs in the creation, management and transfer of their wealth. 

Through its Perspective communication channel, it provides its informed clientèle with an overview of major trends in the financial markets. 

We had several goals as part of the BDL (Banque de Luxembourg) "Perspectives" project. 

  • First of all, we wanted to expand the outreach of this private bank and revitalise the Perspectives newsletter published four times a year by the BDL. 
  • We also wanted to consolidate the bank’s position as an expert in the Luxembourg market, renowned as a major financial centre with many banking institutions within its borders. 
  • Another of our goals was to engage with a wider audience with the help of a storytelling approach. To achieve this, we sought to capitalise on high-quality content and make it available to a wider target audience. 
  • Finally, we aimed to ensure that the experience would keep the target group coming back.
