David's professional journey began in journalism with roles at the Financial Times and PBS NewsHour. In 2008, he joined The Local, advancing from journalist to editor of The Local Sweden, and later leading the launch of The Local’s Client Studio as Head of Commercial Content. His diverse experience also includes positions in commercial and public diplomacy at the US Embassy in Stockholm and the Meridian International Center in Washington, DC. David holds a master's degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Princeton University.
