Goals and objectives
Czechs take immense pride in their beer—much like the French with champagne or the Scots with whisky. As such, breweries hold a special place in Czech society, with pubs serving as vital communal hubs across towns and villages.
Krušovice Royal Brewery, founded in 1581, is one of the oldest and most respected breweries in the Czech Republic. Beyond its brewing legacy, Krušovice is deeply invested in preserving local history and strengthening community ties.
To support this mission, the brewery launched the initiative “Let’s Leave Something Behind,” inviting the public to nominate meaningful local sites for preservation. In its first year, the campaign focused on landmarks, historic buildings, and other key communal spaces. In the second year, the focus shifted to traditional pubs, many of which were struggling to survive. Finalists were selected in collaboration with the client, and the public voted to determine which locations would receive financial aid and expert consultation from Krušovice.
